    You Remember Ellen (1912) Ellen is a young countrywoman who marries a traveling peasant named William. After leaving Ellen’s home to seek fortune elsewhere, they come upon a mansion, where William reveals that he is an aristocrat in disguise and they are Lord and Lady of Rosna Hall.

    The Lad From Old Ireland (1910) A man from Ireland makes a living in the U.S. and returns home to rescue the girl of his dreams just as her family is being evicted. (Films screen before The Kid)

    Reportedly the victim of a vault fire at Paramount in 1917 a tinted, nitrate release print with Dutch titles turned up in Amsterdam in 1992. Now restored, this is a rarely seen silent version of Snow White — a dawn-of-cinema gem that inspired a teenaged Walt Disney to follow his heart to make animated films for children. Starring a luminous Marguerite Clark, the film tells the familiar Brothers Grimm story in a way that will seem brand new to family audiences.

    Eva Meyer works in a dime store for a few dollars a week, but must solely support her family of two parents and three sisters. She desperately needs a new pair of shoes - her old ones are falling to pieces and she is reduced to cutting out and fitting cardboard soles every evening. Finally, with no other alternative, Eva considers the uninvited advances of Charlie, a cad with clearly dishonorable intentions.
